Purpose of processing

This site (camlab.evoa.one) is a free educational site about 3D cinematography, operated by A&B Network. It has no accounts, no sign-up, no forms and no backend of its own. Its virtual camera is a 3D scene shown on your screen; the site does not use your device's camera.

We process data only for these purposes:

Providing the site: hosting and delivering the pages
Improving the site: visit statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics always; Google Analytics only if you accept)
Showing and measuring ads (Google AdSense, only if you accept)
Meeting legal obligations

What we process and for how long

Sent automatically when a page opens: IP address, time, requested page address, browser, operating system and device type, and the referring page. Cloudflare, our hosting provider, processes this to deliver the site. We keep no server logs of our own.
Only if you accept in the cookie bar: cookie identifiers and visit and ad information, processed by Google (see Google Analytics and Ads below).
If you email us: your address and message, which we use to answer you and delete once handled.

Retention: Cloudflare states that its visit statistics can be viewed for the previous six months; hosting logs follow Cloudflare's own policy. Google keeps event data for 2 months, and data tied to cookie and user identifiers for up to 14 months. Ad data follows Google's policies. Your cookie choice stays in your browser until you clear browser data or change it.

Visit statistics without cookies (Cloudflare Web Analytics)

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, provided by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), to see how the pages are used and to measure page performance. It sets no cookies and does not use your browser's local or session storage. Each page view sends Cloudflare the page path (without the query string), the referring page, country-level location derived from your IP address, your browser, operating system and device type, and page-load timings. Cloudflare states that it does not use this tool to track individual visitors across websites. Statistics can be viewed for the previous six months. For visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland the legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating and improving the site (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Because the site is hosted on Cloudflare, your browser may send network error reports (Network Error Logging) to Cloudflare. They contain technical data such as your IP address, user agent and the address that failed.

Visit analysis (Google Analytics 4)

Only if you accept in the cookie bar, this site uses Google Analytics 4 from Google LLC (USA). Until you accept, Google Analytics is not loaded. If you accept, Google sets cookies whose names begin with _ga in your browser. The _ga cookies stay on your device for up to 2 years after your last visit unless you delete them earlier. Google receives the page address, the referring page, time on page, device and browser information, approximate location and the cookie identifier. We use this to see how many people visit and which pages they read. Google keeps event data for 2 months, and data tied to cookie and user identifiers for up to 14 months. For visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland the legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time with "Ad and analytics cookie settings" in the footer, or block Google Analytics with the add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

Ads (Google AdSense)

This site shows ads to help cover its costs. Until you accept in the cookie bar, ad scripts are not loaded. If you decline, no Google ad service is contacted and no ad cookies are set. If you accept, Google loads ad scripts from its ad servers and sets cookies and storage entries (for example FCCDCF, FCNEC and google_ama_config) to serve and measure ads and to remember your consent choices; Google and its ad partners may use visit information from this and other sites to show ads matched to your interests. Your choice is stored in your browser (local storage key evoa_ad_consent) and can be changed at any time with "Ad and analytics cookie settings" in the footer. Withdrawing stops further loading and tries to remove Google's cookies for this site and the parent domain evoa.one where possible. Cookies that are not removed can be deleted in your browser settings.

Cookies and browser storage

This site sets no cookies of its own. Google sets cookies only if you accept in the cookie bar; Cloudflare Web Analytics sets none.

Stored in your browser and never sent to us: your theme setting (camlab-theme) and your cookie choice (evoa_ad_consent). They stay until you delete them or change your choice.
Change your choice at any time with "Ad and analytics cookie settings" in the footer.
You can also turn off personalised ads at https://adssettings.google.com, block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or block the scripts with a content blocker. The site works either way.

Google's cookies are shared across the sites under evoa.one, so changing your choice or clearing cookies here may also clear Google cookies for other EVOA sites.

Third parties and transfers abroad

We do not sell your data or share it for other purposes, and we do not give personal data to third parties or entrust its processing to them. Your browser itself sends data to Cloudflare and, only if you accept, to Google, as described above. These transfers go abroad, as follows. We may disclose data where a law, court or authority requires it.

Retention: Google Analytics event data 2 months, data tied to cookie and user identifiers up to 14 months; ad data per Google's policies. Effect: none; the site works the same without them.

Your rights and privacy contact

You may ask us to give you access to, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or to restrict its processing. We hold personal data only if you email us. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland you may also object to processing based on legitimate interest and complain to your data protection authority. For data held in the systems of Cloudflare or Google, use the tools and contacts linked above.

Security measures

The operator takes the following measures to protect personal data.

The site is served over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
Email inquiries are handled in an account that only the operator can read, and are deleted once handled.
The site has no server or database of its own that stores member data or form entries.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 14 and does not knowingly collect their personal data. If we learn that a child's data has been collected, we delete it promptly.
